HighTech equipment

Companies active in High Tech Systems and Materials (HTSM), with a specific focus on semiconductors, can participate in an economic mission to Switzerland. Our chairman Peter Stolk is the delegation leader. The mission takes place under ministerial guidance and offers a strategic opportunity to strengthen international ambitions and explore new market opportunities within the Swiss high-tech ecosystem.

During this mission, the Netherlands will position itself as an important development partner for semiconductor innovation. In addition to the HTSM program, the mission also includes a biotechnology program.

The mission is open to Dutch companies (including start-ups and scale-ups) and knowledge institutions that are active in High Tech Systems and Materials and are looking for collaboration partners and/or OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) in Switzerland. Ministerial representation will be present on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A delegation from VNO-NCW will also participate.

Opportunities in Switzerland for HTSM

Switzerland has a strong design industry for semiconductors and for microelectronics, intended for niche markets. The country also has a large, very active research community that is involved in chip design.

This mission offers high-tech organisations considerable opportunities to:

  • promote innovative products and knowledge in a country that is so important for HTSM

  • share their network

  • explore export and cooperation opportunities in Switzerland

Full information and the possibility to register for the mission can be found on the website of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO):
