Taiwan is a global leader in semiconductors, AI, and ICT in general. For example, Taiwan produces 90% of the most advanced semiconductors and 60 to 90% of all AI servers.

This strong position is due to many years of ICT expertise. The center of the tech industry lies in Taiwan thanks to companies such as TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company), Foxconn, ASUS, and Acer. These companies are successful because they perfectly combine innovation with scalable production.

COMPUTEX 2026 

COMPUTEX is the largest high-tech trade fair in Asia, and the second largest in the world. The fair offers Dutch companies the perfect opportunity to present themselves to the global sector. This year, the theme is 'AI Together', with topics such as:

• Next-Gen Tech

Taiwan is the perfect location for COMPUTEX because the high-tech sector there is so strong. The largest manufacturers of chips and AI hardware, including international companies such as NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel, are present at the trade show. At COMPUTEX, they present their latest developments and strategies for increased collaboration in Taiwan.

This mission is for Dutch companies active in High-tech & semiconductors and AI.

Programme

This mission consists of two sector programmes. One programme is for the high-tech sector and semiconductors. The other programme is for those doing business in AI.
