Special session on Optomechatronics and Metrology

The NL R&D Workgroup Mechatronics and VSL are organizing a special morning session in Delft on 20 March 2026. During this open event you can meet experts from industry and research working in the field of (opto-) mechatronics. The aim of the program is to create insight into the research and development activities on (opto-) mechatronics in the region of Zuid-Holland, stimulate networking, and explore (joint) research opportunities between OEMs, SMEs, and knowledge institutes.

The Dutch R&D Workgroup Mechatronics serves as an advisory body to program council member Ton Peijnenburg (VDL ETG) of the Mechatronics & Optomechatronics innovation domain at Holland High Tech. The workgroup brings together leading experts from industry, knowledge institutes, and OEMs to discuss strategic R&D. For companies and knowledge partners active in mechatronics and optomechatronics R&D, the workgroup forms a valuable ecosystem where technological expertise, challenges, route planning, and valorization converge.

This session at VSL offers the opportunity to become acquainted with the Dutch R&D Workgroup Mechatronics.
