Semiconductor Economic Mission to Switzerland

Companies active in High Tech Systems and Materials (HTSM), with a specific focus on semiconductors, can participate in an economic mission to Switzerland. Our chairman Peter Stolk is the delegation leader. The mission takes place under ministerial guidance and offers a strategic opportunity to strengthen international ambitions and explore new market opportunities within the Swiss high-tech ecosystem.

For whom

This mission is open to Dutch companies (including start-ups and scale-ups) and knowledge institutions active in High Tech Systems and Materials, looking for collaboration partners and/or OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) in Switzerland. Ministerial representation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be present. A delegation from VNO-NCW will also participate.

Participation and costs

Participation costs €950 per organisation (maximum of 2 people). This includes:

  • participation in collective programme components;
  • matchmaking via a digital platform;
  • local support and transport (as part of the mission programme).

Travel and accommodation expenses, as well as personal transfers, are not included.

Deadline for registration: Friday 11 July 2025
Note: each participant must register individually. Participation is subject to confirmation after the application period closes.

Why participate?

Switzerland has a strong semiconductor and microelectronics design industry focused on niche markets. It also hosts a large and highly active research community engaged in chip design. This mission offers high tech organisations significant opportunities to:

  • expand their network in Switzerland;
  • hold 1-on-1 meetings with relevant stakeholders via matchmaking;
  • strengthen their presence in the European market;
  • sign MoUs or letters of intent under ministerial guidance.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Participants are expected to adhere to the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct.
