Matchmaking meeting Biochemical diversity (KIC)
On Monday, September 22, 2025, those interested in the KIC Call "Biochemical Diversity" are welcome to participate in a matchmaking meeting. During this meeting, you can meet other potential applicants and form consortia.
KIC call "Biochemical Diversity"
This call focuses on exploring and utilizing the enormous variety of biochemical substances and pathways found in nature. This information and inspiration from nature can be used to develop substances and/or production processes that are more sustainable, efficient, and better than current production processes.
The emphasis is on the (further) development of technologies that enable the exploration, analysis, and application of biochemical diversity. For example:
- Developing devices/techniques to optimize sampling.
- Developing methods and techniques for determining the structure and function of biochemical substances, including stereochemistry.
- Biochemical pathway research.
- Developing structure-reactivity models for the design of bio-based substances with optimal degradability and recyclability.
- Development, optimization, and integration of sustainable production processes.
For whom
During this matchmaking meeting, researchers from all disciplines and representatives of companies and organizations can exchange ideas and make new contacts. This meeting is intended to stimulate new collaborations, with a view to forming consortia.
