On November 5, 2025, INCOSE-NL will host its annual workshops at Van der Valk Breukelen. It promises to be another interesting day, featuring an opening keynote and 15 different workshops on Systems Engineering, including Holland High Tech.

Workshop Holland High Tech

The annual INCOSE-NL event is a conference with workshops focused on Systems Engineering (SE). Throughout the day, there will be a keynote presentation, several parallel workshops, a panel discussion, and, of course, opportunities for networking.

Jacco Wesselius and Steven Haveman will lead a workshop on behalf of Holland High Tech. Jacco Wesselius is Business Director of Embedded Systems Innovation at TNO and a member of the HTSM Program Council for the SE Innovation Domain. Steven Haveman is a senior lecturer in Data-Driven Innovation at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and a member of the Innovation Council for the SE Innovation Domain.

In the High-Tech Systems domain, SE is formally recognized as one of the key enabling technologies that must keep the Netherlands competitive. Holland High Tech has asked its SE Innovation Council to define a new roadmap for the domain.

One of the key ambitions is to ensure that the roadmap transcends the high-tech domain and can serve as a reference for SE throughout the Netherlands. To support this goal, Jacco and Steven will present their analysis of the current state of SE in the Netherlands, as well as their vision for the future.

In addition, the workshop promises to be an interactive session where Jacco and Steven would be happy to receive your input and then explore together which steps need to be taken so that the roadmap becomes a guiding principle in the field of SE.
