Day of Digitalisation
Topsector ICT and NLdigital are organising the Day of Digitalisation on Wednesday 24 September 2025. The event marks the start of an annual initiative highlighting the power of digitalisation and technological innovation for the Netherlands. This year, the Day of Digitalisation takes place from 13:00 to 18:00 at the Louwman Museum in The Hague. Participants are welcome from 11:00 onwards.
The programme includes several keynotes, a panel debate and three in-depth breakout sessions:
- AI & Data: from vision to application
- The Transition to Digital Autonomy
- Digital Delta Reservists: how companies contribute to resilience
In addition, there will be a debate in the run-up to the elections, where experts will discuss the importance of digitalisation for the economy and society, and share key messages for the next government.
Security: the key theme for 2025
The Netherlands faces major societal challenges in the areas of climate, energy, agriculture, health, care and the circular economy. In all these domains, one theme plays a pivotal role: security. Digital key technologies such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), data science, analytics and data spaces are indispensable in developing smart and future-proof solutions. Achieving this requires collaboration: government, industry and knowledge institutions need each other more than ever.
The Day of Digitalisation 2025 is the moment to exchange knowledge, address current challenges and work together on a safer digital future for the Netherlands. The event is aimed at decision-makers, policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs and professionals who actively contribute to digital innovation and security.
